After reading a post on Luke’s blog today over at What Revit Wants, I got thinking that it would be a great idea to have something similar for Revit. An Add-In or mini program that would clearly display your programmed keyboard short-cuts when executing a command in Revit. This would really help users pick them up so much quicker. Or maybe a small floating window with keyboard shortcuts listed next to the most popular commands of you current Revit session.

I know that it would certainly be of value where I work, as I’m always looking for ways to try and improve user’s productivity, no matter how small – it all adds up!

So if there are any coders out there looking for another challenge, how about it? (or is there already something out there that I haven’t come across yet?) If so, please let me know.

Here’s to making users more efficient at betterRevit!
