Wow, how the last couple of months has flown by! Autodesk University is now only a few days away.
Speaking at the last two AUs the trek across the Pacific Ocean has been unavoidable, in fact I’d usually be about half way there by now, but this year I decided to sit it out due to [...]
I was hoping to get this post out as my last for 2012, to draw a line under the year and its events, but I missed the boat. There is a lot of information about Autodesk University 2012 out in the ether, mostly in the form of individual posts and articles. Rather than generate yet [...]
Are you one of the BIM Managers or users that was recently informed that your AutoCAD Revit Suite was being forcibly upgraded to the Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium 2013? Without becoming involved in the politics, I thought that some focus should be placed on the positives.

As expected at Autodesk University, information was plentiful. Even the various break-out areas, such as The Lounge, were furnished with wealthy snippets of data. One such example was the ‘Top 11 Tips & Tricks for Revit 2013′ courtesy of the Revit QA group. It was provided in three parts, one available each day, but [...]
Well it’s been a busy first day at AU2012. It really started yesterday with a few workshops and customer feedback sessions on BIM, various Autodesk 360 offerings, and subscriptions. Then it was off to the Speaker Social and the Public Relations’ Media and Blogger Reception.
In two weeks time Autodesk University will be well under way, so I hope that you’ve finalised all of your preparations already. If you’re not attending AU you don’t have to miss out on what this great event offers, just attend virtually at AU Virtual!

The recent lack of posts has been due to time being taken up finalising the production of my AU Virtual class; AB5300-V From Autodesk® Revit® to Architectural Visualization in 60 Minutes Using Autodesk® Building Design Suite. The AU Virtual classes list will be made available in around 3-4 weeks.
I managed to complete all of the content on time [...]
Time really is flying by; two months tomorrow and the conference will be well under way. It feels like it was only a few days ago that I was reading Shaan’s post with 100 days remaining.
If you haven’t booked yet, you have until October 15 to take advantage [...]
I recently received notification that my proposal for a class on Revit visualisation was accepted for Autodesk University 2012. It’s a follow up to my lecture last year, AB5005P Life After Revit, which was a quick round up of what you can do with a Revit model in other (primarily) Building Design Suite applications. This years [...]
